For my capstone project, I chose the topic of studying beef production education. I wanted to understand how young adults in urban Alberta perceive beef production and how they are getting educated on the beef industry.
This resource would live online and have an established brand. The brand would give authenticity and recognizability to the resource and help the resource to have a solid basis to grow from.
This web resource aims to be interactive, non-threatening to those uneducated on the subject, and engaging. Illustrations are used instead of real images because my research led me to conclude that real imagery and the thought of meat consumption were reasons people steered away from learning since it was too closely tied to reality. I found that illustrations are more approachable for people uneducated about the beef industry.
