888 is a self-directed short film exploring nostalgia and parallels through luxury fashion. With a mesmerizing, dreamlike production, it invites viewers to immerse themselves in the allure of triple fortune.
This project set out to tell a story through a highly stylized, editorial-like approach.
Various dynamic shots were captured to show the clothing in movement and give them life.
Considerations for lighting, sound, styling, and set design were made to expand the communicative nature of the film.
Going Down Slow
Going Down Slow is a visual rendition of Kevin Dean’s Jazz/Blues album of the same name. The contemplative nature of the music is reflected in the dynamic illustrations and type treatment. This project was created in collaboration with Kevin Dean, and was selected as the 5th place honorable mention.
This project required the development of a cohesive system consisting of the jacket design, sleeve, center labels, and drop cards.
The feature illustration depicts the highs and lows of life, including the climb, the fall, and acceptance. This representation of the human condition parallels the relaxing-yet-emotionally-weighted messaging within the music.
