Bridgette Crabbe is a Filipino-Canadian multidisciplinary graphic designer from Edmonton, Alberta. Her design interests reach across all disciplines, with expertise in programs such as - InDesign, Illustrator, Lightroom and After Effects. With a passion for creating meaningful solutions in vibrant and experiential forms which is showcased throughout her portfolio taking personal inspirations from fashion, pop culture, heritage and the environment around her.

Bridgette hopes to continue to grow her skillset as a designer exploring different niches and industries that challenge design thinking.

Future of Edmonton

This time-based frame-by-frame animation that depicts the city of Edmonton in 10 years with the integration of agriculture spaces in urban settings. The concept follows the benefits of these urban landscapes and how attainable this future ‘utopian’ city is. The overall theme stems from climate and ecology and how positive outcomes result in the prosperity of health and well-being once they intertwine.

Anxious: Exhibition Design

The objective of this assignment was to create a museum exhibition with the considerations of brand, placemaking and material culture. Anxious aims to raise awareness of, stimulate conversation about and combat stigma surrounding a variety of disorders. The brand identity plays heavily into the immersive experience of the exhibit. The consideration of colours and how they invoke emotions to the user to the graphical motifs of gradients and dots representing the foggy state of the mind in association to anxiety.

Fashion Editorial Portrait

The objective of this project was to capture a portrait in an editorial style using strobe lighting at an on-site location. The strong contrast in colours emphasizes the complex textures of the clothing pieces. The use of vibrant accessories such as jewelry, narrates the vibrant and
expressive image. An emphasis on stylistic art direction was executed and was achieved by the detailed articulation of model posing, makeup and costume.

Sustainability Food Practices: GoodEats

Through the study of food sustainability practices in relation to habits of overconsumption, GoodEats was developed.

GoodEats aims to provide every household with the opportunity and convenience to learn about sustainable food habits right in their own home - from growing, cooking to compost. The brand and the product packaging is vibrant and playful allowing users to be easily engaged in the product.
