Hello! My name is Bettina, and I’m a designer based in Edmonton. I have an eye for detail and composition in photography, video and publication. I have a passion to create and tell stories through visual communication. My skills and passion for designing for the better and spreading an influence shaped who I am as a designer today. Having the opportunity to use design to help others drives me to improve more as a designer. I’m excited to share my skills and take on new challenges after I graduate. I hope to collaborate and gain new experiences with industry designers.

Window Light Portrait
The project explores natural lighting and its many forms. The use of natural lighting helps define the shape, texture and visual impact of a portrait.
Illustrated Album Cover
This project uses one’s conceptual skills and craft to create an image combined with an illustration that communicates a mood or a concept in the presentation of a record album.
Book Design
The project involves redesigning a book from cover to cover. The project aims to establish one’s typography and layout skills while keeping consistency and unity throughout the book.
Annual Report
The project allows for redesigning the annual report for the city of Edmonton, allowing the design to have cohesive and creative pieces in the layout. The goal of the project is to use one’s typographic knowledge and skills to create interesting layouts.
