Quinn
I am a graphic designer born and raised in Calgary, AB. My design interests fall under visual communication design, Including, Illustration, Videography, Motion Graphics, Branding, and UX UI design. My inspiration and stylistic choices derive from the influence of my family members and friends. My career goal is to eventually venture down into the United States for a design job. I embrace a lot of styles and enjoy experimenting with different mediums and unique colors. During the pandemic, I found ways to maintain a healthy body and mind by exercising and meditating. I also got a new golden retriever puppy named Bowie.
Groundhog Day
This piece was created for a design infographics class. The infographic shows the complete timeline of the movie. Much research and organization was needed to visualize the information correctly. Adobe Illustrator was used in order to complete this piece using mostly vector elements.
Arnold Duplicate
This piece was created for a photography class. The objective was to research a notable photographer from around the world and try to recreate one of their photographs using identical lighting setups, camera specs, and staging. The photo I duplicated was called “Arnold Schwarzenegger Portrait 1987”.
Climate Change in Action
This piece was created for a design infographics class. This Infographic provides various statistics and information on climate change. In addition, the piece provides information on deforestation and its relationship to climate change. Bright colors were used to catch the attention of my viewers along with the use of pie graphs, Charts, and more.
Federico da Montefeltro
This illustrative piece was created in an Illustration course. The idea of this peace was to recreate a famous masterpiece in a different illustrative style. The usage of soft colors makes this piece look similar to the illustrator's style that I tried to mimic. Tom Whalen, is an accomplished designer and illustrator and his illustrative style was mimicked in the recreation.
