I am a designer, piano player, and wine-enthusiast. The inspiration for my designs often comes from books and magazines, or days spent in the mountains. I aspire to work in advertising and branding because I’m passionate about helping people start up their businesses. I love design because it crosses so many disciplines, and taking ideas from concept to reality is so rewarding. Over the pandemic, I got an iPad to practice illustration and watched a lot of Grey’s Anatomy.
ACE Student Workshop | Zebra Child Protection Centre Campaign
In this ACE workshop, I worked with a team to create a 6-month awareness campaign for the Edmonton Zebra Centre. Emily Keating mentored our project. My teammate Hayden Koch was responsible for copy-writing, and I was responsible for the design. We worked together on the strategy. The goal of this campaign is to “increase awareness that the Zebra Protection Centre is a safe and supportive space in the Edmonton community & increase education within the Edmonton community about responding to and reporting incidence(s) of child abuse.”
Park Valley Pool Rebrand
This project is a hypothetical rebrand of Park Valley Pool. Park Valley Pool is a community-based pool with a focus on family, kids, and recreation. This rebrand is fun and colourful to appeal to kids. The logo is evocative of fun summer days spent in the water. Hand-painted, acrylic details are reminiscent of kids’ crafts.
CS21 Conference Identity
CS21, Culture and Sport Interchange, is a hypothetical gathering at the Edmonton Convention Centre. It is a place where academics and sport leaders can talk about the dynamic relationship between culture and sport. At the root of culture and sport are people and their identities. This fundamental idea is in the illustration, where people from different sports and cultures pass their knowledge, in the form of circles, to one another.
Fitbit Hypothetical Catalog
This project uses Fitbit’s established brand to make a new catalogue that features its products. Spreads for the watches include descriptions, features, colour options, price and battery life. Photos and copy provided by Fitbit.
