Hey! I’m Cam. I’d consider myself two-thirds designer, one-third forest-dwelling rock monkey. Over the last four years, I’ve developed a passion for solving problems, both in team settings and individually. When I’m not thinking about design, I’m thinking about the outdoors—specifically, wandering through forests and climbing rocks. These spaces and the people in them are a significant source of inspiration for which I am eternally grateful. Looking forward, I hope to maintain a work-life balance that involves the climbing community and the outdoors. Over the pandemic, I became a route setter at the climbing gym downtown. I also learned how okay it is to cry!

The Kurt Vonnegut Collection

Produced in a publication design course, The Kurt Vonnegut Collection was an opportunity to pursue a layout design project with complete freedom. My goal was to produce a clean book that felt unified and consistent from cover to cover. The book takes on a conversational tone, inviting the reader to dive in right from the front cover.

Herman Miller Product Catalogue 2020

This project allowed us to explore working with a brand while developing a logical and flexible grid system for a large amount of information. The system needed to be flexible enough to cater to a wide variety of products and adapt based on the density of content from page to page. The goal of this catalogue is to entice viewers to buy products, so the product shots needed to be one of the standout features of the publication.

Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Rebrand

The goals for this rebrand was to take the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company and reposition it as a wholesome dining experience based on three key values: comfort, quality and family. The company will no longer be based on the essential themes and motifs targeted in a movie and rather, focus on the values of these characters presented in the film. Included in the rebrand was collateral such as business cards, letterhead, tote bags, plates, and menus.

Raczer Media Website Redesign

The goal of this project was to help Raczer reposition their website as the go-to place for car enthusiasts to connect online. They want to be “the Fcebook for car enthusiasts,” so this is what we tried to accomplish. The site map, content and overall styling of the site was tweaked to ensure a more seamless user flow throughout.
