I am a design student and environmentalist with hopes to help create a better world. I find inspiration in obstacles and challenges that the world faces and thrive when researching and designing for larger social issues. I love to educate through creativity and believe visual communication is vital in spreading awareness and education. I love design because it allows me to be expressive and creative while continuously learning and changing. Over the pandemic, I have spent a lot of time outdoors and have attempted to learn how to sew.

The Griff Magazine Redesign

Redesigning the University Magazine, subtle use of colours with exciting imagery was used to intrigue busy students. Larger type and considerable white space allows for casual reading while a calendar on the back page allows for convenient reference and use.

Catalog design: Rocky Mountain Soap Co.

Designing for Rocky Mountain Soap Co. meant needing pops of fun colours, a focus on showing images of products and including instructions for use.

Beauty Editorial

Highlighting natural beauty, I took this project as an opportunity to showcase that beauty editorial shots do not need to include excessive makeup, accessories or high fashion outfits. Lighting was used to create sharp contrast highlighting the models features and create a feeling of depth, while the expressions were to remain relatively neutral with a slight smile.

Raspberry Season

These images were taken for a food and drink photography project. The fresh fruit and copper cups allow for rich colours to encapture the viewer. These images can be imagined in a food and drink magazine or wall decor in a restaurant.
