About
Hey! I’m Victoria, sometimes better known as HEADFUNK, a Filipino-Canadian designer based in Central Alberta. I am passionate about the unconventional, and I use that language to carry my creative endeavours, focusing on applying intersectionality through aesthetic, thought, and challenge.

My designs shine the most in the physical; the added factor of tactility is a vehicle for impact and change. Because of that, I also pull a lot of visual inspirations from the era of physical media I grew up with to synthesize visual identities with a unique twist.

SOBR Cider: Sober Never Boring

A brand identity and campaign concept for a non-alcoholic cider company, targeted towards new and young adults to fight stereotypes surrounding sobriety and celebrate the brave individuality in choosing to do so.

ArtsCommon 118

Utilizing urban planning development along Edmonton's 118th Ave to create modular letterforms that are purely unique to the city, establishing a recognizable brand identity to a pitched building to create a sense of belonging and place for the creatives and community that choose to enter.

Done in collaboration with Jasmeen Nona.

How The Hell Do CD's Make Sound?

Tasked with explaining complex processes, designed a square zine/pamphlet that visually describes the audio making system and the importance of keeping physical media alive.

The Library of Babel Book Cover Concept

A highly conceptual and interactive book tying the stories of The Library of Babel with The Rolling Giant. Traversing the book feels like fighting the monster within; the common man is not supposed to get this far.
