About
Even before coming to MacEwan, I have always considered myself a creative person and a good problem-solver. What's the best way to apply that to my career, other than graphic design? While I do consider myself a "jack-of-all-trades" designer, the program has allowed me to explore areas in which I truly thrive. If I had to list my strongest skills in order, I would have to say branding, photography, and product design. While my ultimate goal is to teach design at the university level, I want to spend the next few years in the field sharpening my skills.
Projects
Dust Jacket
Redesign of the dust jacket and internal layout for an existing book. For this project, I chose George Orwell's "1984."
Record Package Design
Students were asked to compete in designing record packaging/branding for an upcoming album by Bent River Records, "The Long View."
Local Rebrand
For Corporate Identity & Branding, students were asked to choose a local business/company and complete a rebrand. For this project, I chose the local anime convention, Animethon.
