About
I’m Forrester, and I specialize in branding, advertising, and environmental design. During my time at MacEwan, I’ve worked as the graphics editor at The Griff and as a project manager for the DSO. I apply a humanistic approach to all my design work, with a primary focus on the communities involved. As a designer, I always want to translate their words to be represented through my work.
Redemption
I was given a word to represent through photography: redemption. Through the medium, I explored how blind faith could lead to a false sense of redemption.
Triple A Beer | Branding & Package
The brief asked for an alcoholic beverage brand and its package design. I created Triple A Brewing Co., a series of breweries inspired by small towns throughout Alberta, utilizing prominent symbols of the farming communities and their slang.
Andromeda | Brand Architecture
DESN411 consisted of a term-long branding project in which I created Andromeda and its subsidiary brands. Andromeda is a clothing brand focused on creating outdoor clothing without the use of PFOAs (forever plastics).
How many rats can I kill across just two weeks?
In DESN313 Information Design, I was asked to track specific activities across two weeks. I tracked my vices and calculated how many rats would have been killed by my consumption based on LD50 statistics.
