About
Hey, I'm Jessica May, or Jess as my friends call me! I'm a visual communicator who focuses primarily on photography, branded environments, and branding. Most of my design inspiration comes from my love for the outdoors and nature. I find beauty in everything, and it is consistently reflected in my design work. During my degree, I have gained four years of design experience as a print manager at Hunters Print and Copy.
Who Really Cares - Album Redesign
This album is a photography project that uses motion blur to capture the subject and redesign the album "Who Really Cares" by TV Girl.
Food Photography - Pasta Shoot
The project is a recreation of a food shoot in a magazine, tasked with food styling, lighting, and capture. The project shows the image recreation.
Album Design - Raices
Tasked by the client, this project explores illustration, photo editing and expressive type. This project was designed as a part of the course outline of DESN 231.
Peanut Butter Toast
This project highlights food photography and food styling. As a photographer, I had to control the lighting and scene, ensuring the cropping matched my reference image. This project challenged my skills in lighting setup and post-production.
