Hi, I’m Mesina! I love working with print media and typography to tell stories and inspire imagination. As an avid reader and writer, creativity and storytelling flow smoothly into my design toolkit, leveraging my work to convey powerful narratives.
My portfolio reflects my passion for print and publication design, from books to posters. Each piece showcases different genres and styles, focusing on typography, illustration, information, and design research. My specialties include various print media, such as brochures, flyers, and packaging.
I’m looking forward to expanding my horizons and sharing more stories in the future!

Projects
The Yellow Wallpaper
A unique rendition of the classic short story, The Yellow Wallpaper, in which a woman isolated in a room with yellow wallpaper is slowly driven to the brink of insanity. Designed cover-to-cover, this book utilizes experimental typography to create an evocative reading experience that mirrors the plight of the narrator and evolves alongside the story.
The Plant Companion
My capstone project, The Plant Companion, is a plant guidebook designed to encourage university students to improve their mental health through indoor plant care. Designed to make plant care a form of self-care, this book has a wealth of information and resources, including plant care basics, species profiles, self-care activities, and a helpful plant picker chart.
Predestination
A metaphorical timeline of events in the film Predestination, in which a temporal agent embarks on a series of intricate time-travel missions to ensure the continuation of his law enforcement career. This timeline deconstructs the plot, characters, and relevant quotes into three simultaneously occurring predestination paradox loops featured throughout the film.
