Hi, my name is Kathleen. Over the past four years, I've embraced the opportunity to take risks, experiment with new ideas, and push myself to grow as a designer continuously. My work is not just about visuals; it is about telling stories, connecting with people, and creating moments of transformation.

Branding and communication are the areas of design where I find the most fulfillment. Every detail in design has a purpose, and I strive to demonstrate that through all my projects. As I continue to grow, I am excited to expand my skills in illustration, bringing a more personal touch to my work.

Projects

Be Free

"The objective of this project was to find an active photographer and mimic their style" - Jake Hicks.

The double exposure of the photograph adds a sense of movement, while the model's body language and facial expression enhance the sense of calmness, matching the tone of the birds."

Antiques

The brief for this project was to capture a visual and emotional journey that took place while walking through an environment. The images were created using pointillism, allowing the forms of each object to be exploratory and create visual interest.

Working in Harmony

This project aimed to take the word ‘harmony’ and create a narrative demonstrating what that word would look like in motion.

I relate bees to harmony due to the nature of how they communicate and work together.

Alley Kat Rebrand

This project aimed to take a local company and rebrand them. This rebrand follows closely to the original by keeping the green cat eyes and following a similar wordmark while adding unique features such as the 'a' and 'k' icon that closely resembles a fish bone, giving a nod to this company's first beer, Fish Bone.
