she/her
Hi, I’m Kaitlyn Tupper! I’m an Edmonton-based multidisciplinary designer specializing in publication, photography, motion graphics, and branding. With an eye for detail and composition, I love to bring together my skills across disciplines to create impactful, well-rounded designs.
My portfolio highlights this versatility and my eagerness to learn new skills with every project, as I took the opportunity to develop further proficiencies along the way, such as illustration and copywriting. I can’t wait to join the Edmonton design community on a larger scale, and continue to grow and learn as a design professional!

Projects
The First Branch
A new edition of Lady Charlotte Guest's translation of the First Branch of the Mabinogion, a collection of Welsh folklore and mythology. This project brings together the disciplines of publication design, illustration and editing, as well as incorporating my passion for linguistics with the inclusion of annotations, linguistic transcriptions and a glossary of Welsh proper names.
Resentment
This editorial portrait photography project represents the photographic skills I have developed coming together in the form of lighting, styling, photo editing, and creative directing.
Undercover Insects
"Undercover Insects" is a web series on camouflaging insects that highlights a new hidden bug in each episode. Combining digital illustration and motion graphics, this project involved the creation of stylized layered assets for 5 animated sequences to make up a total of 3 title sequences.
The Griff Redesign
This project challenged me to reimagine the visual identity of The Griff, MacEwan University's student magazine. My redesign of the Griff brings a bold, creative, and playful energy to the magazine to express the diverse and colourful experience of university life, against the urban backdrop of downtown Edmonton.
