Talks is a project and campaign that explores different kinds of everyday conversations between teachers and students. It visualizes the connection we develop through spontaneous, fleeting yet meaningful dialogues.
A project began with lots of in-person research, gathering insights on the topic of teacher-student relationship. Visual Identity for a campaign. Focus is the reciprocal teacher-student relationship, as well as individual stories that they bring onto the conversation table.
Thinking about dynamic, typographical treatment of visual identity. Teacher-student boundary is real, but we are also human beings that thrive in having connection with others.
Thinking about how to visualize different kinds of talks, while emphasizing the talks are incredibly unique and spontaneous in India's lives. Drawing lines to show connection between teachers and students made sense the most, as the hand-drawn lines can express a variety of emotion and rhythm.

This zine is a package of all graphics that were developed through capstone. Project. This casual, minimal-text booklet allows open interpretation and personal reflection for readers. To think about everyday conversations not as something taken for granted, but as the reason for us to build human connection in hectic university lives.
