Beyond the Bedside: Unraveling Nursing Education (Photo Essay)
In this photo essay, I capture the essence of a dedicated nursing educator whose roles span from being an assistant lecturer and lead instructor for the Health Assessment Lab Team at the University of Alberta to a Clinical Nurse Educator on the Cardiac Intensive Care Team at the Royal Alexandra Hospital. Through intimate and evocative images, the essay showcases her passion and empathy, which profoundly impact her students and colleagues, fostering their growth and education.
Book Re-Design: You'll Come Back To Yourself
This project entailed designing a complete book from cover to cover, using a manuscript grid for structured text while integrating unconventional layouts, images, and typographic details to enhance aesthetic appeal and reader engagement, showcasing a fresh approach to modern book design. The design prominently features my own illustrations that symbolize growth and new beginnings, adding a layer of personal expression and thematic depth to the overall work.
Glo & Go Ad Campaign
I collaborated with a team of designers to create a parent brand, defining cohesive elements for the development of sub-brands. Independently, I developed "Glo & Go," a wellness shot brand, designing its branding, packaging, and advertising campaign, which includes static social media ads, a poster series, and a billboard.
Illustrative Photography : Album Art
For this project, I designed an album cover for Kelsey Breedlove's EP "Heaven's Song," with imagery that symbolizes growth within a garden, infused with biblical references to enrich the visual narrative. The cover art aims to visually represent the themes of renewal and divine inspiration, resonating with the album's spiritual undertones.
