Projects

The Wilted Garden

The aim of this project was to evoke an emotion or sensation by personifying an inanimate object.

Executed in pen and ink, the artwork depicts a sorrowful watering can placed at the center of the page, encircled by drooping flowers.

Using a stippling technique, the illustration captures the subtle nuances of melancholy, resonating within the composition.

“Be Kind” Album Design

This record design was crafted for Chandelle Rimmer and Tom Van Seters for their album titled "Be Kind." The objective of this project was to design record packaging, including album cover art, that reflected both the personality of the musicians and the themes conveyed in their music.

Utilizing a blend of digital illustration and photo manipulation techniques, this piece achieves a multi-layered composition rich in texture and vibrant colours.

Hagfish Fishing Co. Fresh Sardines

This branding project involved crafting a brand identity and packaging concept for a chosen product.

The developed “Hagfish Fishing Co.” is the branding behind an imagined west coast fishery. This company specializes in offering freshly packaged seafood in stores and markets, modernizing canned seafood with unique and flavourful ingredients. The branding strategy integrates handcrafted linocut prints into the logo and packaging design, seamlessly blending a nostalgic fish market ambiance with a contemporary appeal.

Paper Magazine: Women and Cities

This layout design features editorial-style photography as the foundation for a magazine cover and spread.

Utilizing flash photography, the photoshoot produces crisp and dynamic images. The styling and location of the shoot complement the themes and concepts explored in the article featured in the layout. The photos exhibit an urban, futuristic aesthetic, captivating the readers and creating a compelling composition and visual narrative.
