I am a graphic designer (who focuses on typography and publication design) and photographer who was born and raised right here in Edmonton! I find inspiration from my personal experience, as well as the experiences from the people around me. My career goal is to continue my work in publication design, as well as start adding some photography into the mix. The reason why I love design so much is that it has the potential to express ideas and thoughts in very unusual ways. Over the Pandemic, I volunteered with Golden Meteorite Press designing books as the captain of the graphic design team!

Daemonologie Book Redesign

A book that was done for my most recent Publication class just this last semester, is a redesign of the book titled Daemonologie, which was a book about Witches written by King James VI of Scotland. A summary of the book is that it is a logical debate of how the craft works and how to deal with it, but there are traces left behind by witches in the form of vandalism.

Horse and Owner Photoshoot

One of my Photography class assignments, this series of photos was meant to display a sense of the story and relationship between the owner and the horse. Candice, the owner, was kind enough to let me hang around her and her horse, Indy, for the day and take photos of their bond.

Love Enough Posters

This selection of posters was done in my Typography class several years ago, and they are still pieces of work that I am the most proud of. This series of posters was done for the book, Love Enough written by Dionne Brand. The main theme that was a part of this book that was explored was the raw and blunt expression of love in various ways through three of the main characters.

Moira Movie Posters

In this project, two movie posters were created, one using photos we took, and the other using copyright free images. We had to take the movie title “Moira” and create a story from which we would create our posters from. My concept for Moira came in the form of a comedy about a girl named Moira who is trying to find out what she wants to do with her life.
