Steam is a software that allows users to purchase and launch games. I explored how important socializing about games was to users of Steam/gamers in general, and how to improve Steam’s overall user experience.
The first semester focused on research. My favorite experience from this project was getting real users' feedback, and the live co-design session was so insightful.
I wanted to keep parts of the app that worked, like the pop out chat, but focus on organizing the hierarchy of those functions.
